Rockstar confirmed PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in December 2023 and has not mentioned PC since. Two delays later, pre-orders opened on 25 June 2026 for the same two consoles.

History says PC players wait. The early GTA games reached PC six to seven months after consoles. GTA V took nineteen. Red Dead Redemption 2 took twelve.

A newer report says sooner. GamesBeat, citing four anonymous industry sources, says PC is planned for the first quarter of 2027. Rockstar isn't talking. We'll believe it when they do.

Rockstar hasn't said, so we went by its record: PC always comes second, 6 to 19 months late.

      Is GTA 6 coming to PC?

      Rockstar hasn't announced a PC version. Every main GTA since GTA III has come to PC, each one after its console release.

      When will GTA 6 come out on PC?

      Not announced. GamesBeat reports Q1 2027, citing anonymous sources. Rockstar's past pace points later: GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 would put it between November 2027 and June 2028.

      Can I play GTA 6 on my PC right now?

      Only by streaming it from a console you own, from the 19 November console launch. Sony's PS Remote Play app streams a PS5 to a Windows 10 or 11 PC; Sony asks for at least 5 Mbps up and down (15 Mbps for best results) and a DualSense or DUALSHOCK 4 controller. The Xbox app on Windows does the same for an Xbox Series X|S. You still need the console and the game, and the PC is just the screen. Rockstar hasn't said whether GTA 6 supports Remote Play.

      Will GTA 6 be on Steam?

      Not announced. Red Dead Redemption 2 launched on PC through Rockstar's own launcher and the Epic Games Store, and reached Steam a month later. The alert will tell you which stores are listed.

      Rockstar hasn't published any, because there is no PC version yet.
